I want to make a layout for my bf's daughter who turns 16
today. She will be getting a truck from her parents as a
surprise. I want to make the layout ahead of time and there
will be 2 or 3 pics. I bought this embellishment pack and
want a really cute layout to use them on. I really stink at
doing searches online and could use some help on ideas.
PLEASE help. Web sites/blogs with cute layout ideas (pictures
please) would be so helpful. 12x12 iS what I use.

The layout is for John's daughter's 16th bday tomorrow. As is the word book.
Then there are cards for Wyatt's teachers, and some mother's day cards that

She does great work. You should check out the table she made and her scrap
room. HOLY COW. awesome.
The paper for the word book is from the DCWV paper pack Blossoms and Butterflies
and I used the cartridge Plantin Schoolbook.

I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do. And just in case I'm gone tomorrow.

We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. Her decision to discuss her version of the scheduling challenges publicly has forced the Studio to set the record straight and correct the facts.
Ms. Lefevre's representatives were advised as early as April that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE was expected to start shooting in early August.

If Ms. Lefevre was, as she describes “passionate,” about being part of THE TWILIGHT SAGA, we feel that she and her representatives would have included us in her decision to work on another film that would conflict with the shooting schedule of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.

It was not until July 20th that Summit was first informed of Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to BARNEY’S VERSION, a commitment we have since been advised she accepted in early June. Summit had acted in good faith that she would be available to fulfill her obligations both in terms of rehearsals and shooting availability for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. We feel that her choice to withhold her scheduling conflict information from us can be viewed as a lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production.

Furthermore Ms. Lefevre took a role in the other film that places her in Europe during the required rehearsal time, and at least ten days of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE’s principal photography. This period is essential for both rehearsal time with the cast, and for filming at key locations that are only available during the initial part of production.
Contrary to Ms. Lefevre’s statement, it is simply untrue that the Studio dismissed her over a ten day overlap. It is not about a ten day overlap, but instead about the fact that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is an ensemble production that has to accommodate the schedules of numerous actors while respecting the established creative vision of the filmmaker and most importantly the story.

The fact remains that Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to the other project - which she chose to withhold from Summit until the last possible moment - makes her unfortunately unavailable to perform the role of Victoria in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.

I messed up my blog

I dont know what I did but yesterday I messed up something. I came to my blog today and the side bar on the right is not on the right at the top where it should be. It is way down below where it should not be. lol. I dont know how to fix it. I have tried and tried everything and nothing is working. Any ideas?

April 18th Donny came home from work (he really wasn't at work) and proceeds to tell me he cant stand being with me and I make him sick and he is leaving. April 19th he moves out and April 23rd he has an apartment in an upscale complex off of I-75 and Bruce B Downs. Well to later find out he does have a girlfriend (I accused him of it, but of course he denied it), and he had been seeing her for at least 6 months(that would make it around Nov. of 2008-I didn't find out until april 18 2009 that we were having problems). So our 11 years together (9 married on March 25th) was just one big misery for him. But all is good now. I no longer miss him, and I am glad he left. He always tried to tell me he did all he could to make me feel good about myself and not look down on myself, but he didn't. I NOW feel good about myself and have done everything I can to make myself healthy (and still am going on with that), I have had my leg vein surgerys, my hysterectomy, been to the heart doc/stress tests, mammogram, loosing weight, exercising. And starting to do things to have fun.
I know there are things I "did wrong" in his eyes, but the problem with that is, he NEVER told me until the day he told me he was leaving. So there was no way to fix it.
Anyhoo, I wasn't gonna get into all that, just wanted to let everyone know whats been going on with me (since I deleted the other posts). They were much more in detail. lol.I'm not saying all this for you to look down on him, he has issues he needs to work out and get his life together to try to be happy. I feel sorry for him and no longer hate him.

Hello to all bloggers out there. Lots gone on since I last blogged. I am newly single again (not by my choice-but good with it now), have lost around 30 pounds (still more to go, I am looking HOT- LOL), just had a hysterectomy (with a few repairs in there) and am now home trying to recoup from the surgery. By the time I am done recouping, it will be time to go back to work. WAHHHHHH. I don't wanna. lol, but I gotta.
I can't wait till this 6 weeks of recovery are over. I want to get back to my weight loss/exercising, and to going out and having fun. Dancing, and doing things Iam scared to do (maybe some bungee jumping, rides riding, motorcycle riding, dirt bike riding, boating, etc. etc.).
Anyhoo, not much scrapbooking going on lately, but hopefully will soon. I have not been able to go see the new Harry Potter movie (my surgery was day before it released) an can't wait for the New Moon (Twilight) movie to come out.

Ok this leg, this surgery, HURT. The veins in this leg are thicker and tougher than the other leg. No reason, just each leg can be different. When the doc tried putting the catheder in the vein, it wouldn't go in, but I guess it was so tough and it wouldn't go in correctly. Plus they were thinner. So the initial incision, where the catheder goes in, HURT LIKE THE DICKENS. Oh man. There were other times that there was pain, but it was tolerable. Then once the laser was all done, and it was time to pull out the veins, the doc got the top part, went all the way to my bikini area. The nurse got the bottom part of my leg. When she went to pull out a vein, she grabbed a nerve instead. HOLY COW, talk about pain. Man, I was so ready for that to end.

We went to Universal Studio's the day before my 40th bday (March 1st) and it was so windy, cold, rainy and before we left I got on this display and it really looked like I was riding.

Donny loved this pic (I don't, look huge) and had it printed 8x10 size. Jeez babe, scare people away. lol. Anyhoo, I just had to scrap it. Click it to make it bigger if you dare. It says,

My vein surgery. Not for weak stomachs out there

I had my second vein surgery today. Today was just the "flabectomy", I think is what they called it. The doc had already done the laser part the last time so did not have to do it again.
Today was just removing some veins he did not get to last time (ran out of meds). So there is
not as much pain this time. I am starting to hurt a little right now and need to get up and walk for a bit. I have to walk at least 10 minutes every hour but I do much more than that. My mom got off work early and took me (Wyatt was with us) and brought us home. Donny is at a Mason Lodge while one of his friends get "Raised" so he could not take me. Plus he had to work and could not get off in time. I remembered to take my camera this time so I have pics to share. If you have a sensitive stomach, you might not want to look at the pics. I think they are no big deal AT ALL, but I think this kind of stuff is neat at crap. Wish I could get pics when I go for my hysterectomy, but I know that is not possible. I will take my camera in case and see if someone will take some pics for me. I won't share those on here though, if you want to see, you will have to email me for the pics. LOL. Anyhoo, here are the pics. If you want to see a bigger pic, click on the pic and it will enlarge.

I started a while back, but always forget about it. I went on today and typed in Robert Pattinson.

I guess it's really him. My daughter tried to explain it to me, but who knows. Hopefully it's really him. Just the like the ROCK, Dwayne Johnson. I could live a very happy life with only seeing these two men (of course my hubby and son in there too). Rob and Dwayne. AHHHH. LOL

Can't get enough Twilight!!

I just can't seem to get enough of Twilight. Am I crazy or what? I don't care. I just love it. I have

watched the 2 bonus video's and not sure how many times the movie. I am actually watching it now while laying in bed. I had planned on working on the skinny scarf I am making and reading some. But of course not. I am also addicted to Facebook. What would I do without my computer and tv, movies? I guess read more, scrapbook more (am I even scrapbooking?), card making more, knitting more. Exercising more??? I need to get in as much exercise as I can before Thursday. Another vein surgery and no exercising for over a week. I lost the 2 pounds I had lost and gained back again (lost 12.6-then gained 2 back, and now lost them back again. lol), hopefully I wont gain any more back. This really sucks. By the time I can do things again its time for another surgery. I can't wait till the 3rd one is done and over with. But then it will be time for my hysterectomy. FUN. 6 weeks or more of doing nothing. Wish me luck with my diet (Weight Watchers). I got off the subject of Twilight. How could I do that? I should be ashamed of myself. LOL. I cant wait for NEW MOON to come to theatres. So who has watched Twilight more than once since they bought their DVD?

Donny gave me $20 the other day to get my movie Twilight but no one had it (the 3 diff walmarts we went to), so I was NOT gonna settle for the plain ole 1 disc. LOL. A few lady's at
work said that Super Target had them. So I called this eve and the lady said they had over 2 hundred of the 3 disc movies and they were still $17.99. So off we went (the kids and myself),
while Donny went on a run. I am so happy to have it. And it has a digital copy on it also. I have never used the digital copies other movies came with, but I am sure I will download this one.
I will watch it when I go to bed. Will probably fall asleep in the middle, but HEY it is mine and I
can watch it whenever me wants. Who else has gotten their copies, or who has NOT gotten theirs? Hurry on over to super Target on Bloomingdale Ave. (that is if you live in this area) and get yours. Or call your Target and ask if they have it.

Happy Anniversary to Me and Donny

Today is our 9th anniversary. We both FORGOT. I was rocking Michael to sleep at school today around 12:30 and I remembered. So I grabbed my phone from its location (hehe) and sent him a text. Sorry I forgot babe. Happy Anniversary. I love you. kissie kissie. lol.
Anyhow, we actually celebrated it this past Saturday evening. He took me to a GREAT Japanese restuarant off Lumsden and Kings in that shopping center by the kids consignment shop. There is also a pub next to it. Across the street is O'briens I think. It was WONDERFUL. The only other time I had ever been to a J restaurant, I did NOT like it at all. But it was awesome. I had Tampa Roll, and California Roll, Shrimp Tempura, and some Beef something. Can't remember the name. Man O man O man it was soo good. The waitress came by and asked me what was wrong and did I not like the food cause I hardly ate. I told her I did and I am on weight watchers. I would eat it all if I could. Oh also had a salad with some kinda weird dressing, but it was good, and MeSo soup. YUM. So with the salad, soup, T and C rolls and the shrimp Tempura and then the beef stuff, I was SO stuffed after. We had lots of leftovers and had it for 2 days. LOL. YUM. We also went to the mall after so I could walk (supposed to walk after the vein surgery) off the food and get my walking in. We weren't there a long time, but did go to Sears and he got a couple things CHEAP (shirts) and me a jacket (CHEAP). They had some good sales going on. Oh and got a couple pillows that were buy one get one free. Our pillows were looking a bit YUK. No stuffing in them. LOL.

Anyhoo, here are my flowers he brought me home and the card is beautiful. Of course I didn't get him a card. But that's ok, our 11 year first date anniversary was Valentines day and I got him one but he forgot mine. We both are sooo forgetful.

Wyatt's last Shriners appt. on March 10th

Everything is looking really good. There is still a small dense area, but its not bad.

Wyatt had to tell the doc that he has NOT been wearing his braces at night (he doesn't

like them and the way they feel) and he cheats alot and uses his walker when he is home and

does a speedy gonzalez act with it. He always ends up walking or hopping really fast and just

not doing what he should be doing. It has been like 2 1/2 years being in the wheelchair and he

is just sick and tired, tired and sick of the thing. It is so hard for him, knowing he can walk with

no problem and NOT being able to. He is miserable. When he went to his appt. in December, the

doc told him if he continues to do what he should he might possibly be out of the wheelchair by Dec. of 2009. Well this last appt. she said the xrays looks so good and if he will PLEASE use his wheelchair more, and WEAR his braces (she even said dont wear them 12 hours, just say from 10pm-6am) and not walk, he will be out of his wheelchair come his next appt. in June. She also

said, from how good the Xrays look, if he had been wearing his braces and not walking/cheating,

he could have left the wheelchair and walker at the hospital and gone home and started walking again (no running though for a lot longer). That kind of upset him, but its his own fault for not doing what he should. He knows what he should do and chooses not to. Anyhoo, hopefully by

June, he just might be out of the wheelchair. So maybe next year in 3rd grade, he will no longer have to use the elevator at school (the new building should be done at school by then, so the portables will be GONE).

My VEIN Surgery from Friday 3-20-09

Well this past Friday was the first of my 3 vein surgeries.
If you have never had one done, it is pretty weird. After
I got there they had me undress (got to leave on bra and shirt)
and put on a pair of their tiny (for my big butt anyhow) almost
g-string like paper panties. LOL. And I had to lay on bed with
my leg bend sideways. The doc comes in and they start sticking
my with a needle all over my leg. I guess this was to give me
pain/numbing meds. The sticks stung but the one on my knee,
I thought I was gonna kick him in the face. OUCH. But that went
away pretty fast. They had to talk to me the whole time, every 30
seconds "Are you ok Christina?" "You ok?" Just to make sure I
was good and not in alot of pain or anything. I was good. Wish I had
my camera. when they got to my upper thigh, my heart started beating
super super fast. I could have started freaking out, but they said it would
stop within 1 minute. It did, so I was good. Then came the incisions,
I could feel something but not pain. Then came the catheder inserted
from what I could tell in the incision at my ankle. Now that was SUPER
weird. I could feel that going in, felt really weird. Didn't hurt, just pressure
and almost like a bug crawling thru my skin. ewwww. Then after that, (at least
I think, hard to tell since I couldn't see or feel anything), they had to give us all
sunglasses and they started using the lazer on my leg. They had to ask me every
10 seconds if I was ok. If there was ANY pain, uncomfortableness (is that a word-lol)
ANYTHING at all, I HAD to tell them. I felt pressure but no pain or burning, I did
feel like something was crawling on me, the nurse laughed and said the cord to the laser
was moving on me. That's a relief. LOL. After the laser, now the fun, cool, I am so pissed
I forgot my camera part. They (the doc and RN) started pulling the veins out thru the
many incisions. I wanted to take pics and was so mad for not bringing the camera. The doc
asked if I had a camera phone and I said DUH, so he said to give it to the nurse and she could
take a pic. Up until yesterday I could NOT see him pulling out a vein. A lady at work that can
barely see anything seen it and pointed it out to me. LOL. Everyone else just goes EWWWW.
Man o man. Anyhoo, everything turned out ok and I had to leave with this HUGE bandage,
and had to keep it on until Saturday night when I was to take a shower and let the water wash
it off. well it sure was not that easy. I had to pull at certain places. The bandages had lots of blood. YUK. I had to take 3 ibuprofins every 3 hours for 3 days. And they gave me a script for
Darvacet which I did NOT fill. There are pics below of the bandages (hard to take of myself and no one else would do it, butt heads) and of my leg after the bandages came off. When looking at my knee, it looks like I had been bitten by a shark. My sis told me to tell everyone I went to the beach and got attacked. LOL. Funny. I will look for the pic from my phone. I called the docs office a little bit ago because my ankle is still numb and I wanted to make sure that was normal.
She said not everyone gets that, but it does happen and will eventually go away. As long as it is starting to feel different and some of the feeling is coming back I should be fine. She said if I wanted to come in first thing in the morning that would be fine, I said I would wait for my appt. on Friday. The numbness in my private area and thigh has gone away now, that just leaves my inner ankle. I cant really feel anything except vibrations when I smack at it. LOL. I am still uncomfortable and sometimes certain parts of my leg hurts (mostly my inner thigh where you can tell they did the laser. Looks like I have a bad sunburn), but I am fine. I will be walking on Saturday from 5-8 so hopefully this will all be gone by then. If not, I will just take little breaks and take my ibuprofin. Oh in the pic with my bandages, at the very top you see some ink marks,
that is where he could not finish. They can only give you one bag of meds and by this time, it was empty so he could not finish. So that will have to either be done at one of the other 2 appt.s or I have to have another date set. Hopefully they can do it with one of the other 2 surgeries.

I didn't. WAHHHHH. I had one of my vein surgeries yesterday and was told
not to drive. I am still a little numb and it's starting to hurt a little more. So not
sure when I will be able to get it. Besides the fact I have no moola. LOL. If Donny
makes any money on his sides job today maybe he will be able to go get it for me
or I will have to wait till Tuesday when he gets paid. So to those of you that have it,
congrats and hope you enjoy watching it. YEAH TWILIGHT.
I just went on Video on Demand and Twilight is there, so I am watching it now. :-)

Relay for Life-March 28th

I am so excited. Our school had a Luau to help raise money for the walk/Relay for Life
on March 28th. It was a fun night and looks like we raised a good amount. Anyhow, I got home
from that and signed on and checked my email. I had 4 emails about my donation site.
One said I was 80% of the way. The next 3 were donations. Aunt Rose (daughter Karen
recently died of cancer) gave $50, cousin Belinda (sister Karen recently died), gave $20,
and my bud Barb gave $30. Thanks so much to everyone. Oh and my mom a couple weeks
ago gave $2o (in honor of cousin Karen), and Uncle Manny gave $10 in honor of his neice Karen.
Love you all. I am going to walk as long as possible. I might walk from 1-4 and go back from 6-8.
Not sure yet. I want to walk with my team (ESE dept.) but had already signed up for the earlier
time. So not sure. But will do as much as I can. I am having one of my vein surgeries tomorrow (March 2oth) but should be perfectly fine for walking on the 28th.
Anyhow, I am now at $130.00. Is that not awesome. We are supposed to raise $200.00 each, but they said try to get at least $100. So I am there. Would still LOVE to have more than that of course.

Wyatt and his new glasses

Wyatt and I went and picked up our new glasses last night.
Doesn't he look adorable? Of course I look terrible in the pics
I took of myself, so later I will get a pic of both of mine. I have
a pair of sunglasses and a regular pair. Finally sunglasses. It has
been since I was in high school that I have had a pair of prescription
sunglasses. I remember going to the beach and a huge wave knocked
them off my face, bam that was it, never to see them again. And they
were expensive. I paid for my own contacts and script sunglasses. Never
again would I spend that much money. But now they have 2 for $100, so
I did that and paid an extra $30 for the tint. Anyhoo, here are some pics.
(That is the General Manager of Vision Works in the mall (didn't know she
was the manager until last night), she was super nice. She helped us the day
before when we went to get choose glasses. And she was there today when we
went to pick them up. Wyatt wanted green eye glass cases, I guess they only
have certain ones you get when you buy glasses, because she gave him two
of the ones you have to pay for. Very nice.)

It has been awhile

(Wyatt and I are home today because he was throwing up this morning when I got him up.)

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. I have had doctors appt.s almost everyday
for a while now. I had my heart checked (stress test and echo), and that turned out great. My heart is great, no blockage, no nothing. WOOHOO. Then I had my first mammogram and it turned out NO cancer. I wasn't worried about that, but I do know I have fibercystic breast disease. They didn't say anything about that, only there is no cancer. My gyno appt. is not until Feb. 12th at 3:30. I have also had a vein doctor appt. and I will be having 3 vein surgeries. The first one on March 20th, and the next two, every two weeks after that.. That can not get here soon enough. My right leg is pretty bad, you can see it, but a total surprise to me is my left leg has the same thing. Not AS bad, but it still needs to be removed. The pain from it can be terrible at times, and by the end of the day,(and sometimes in between) my legs get super heavy and I feel like I can't stand or walk anymore. It is rather annoying. I am SO looking forward to these appt.s . Can't wait. My first sleep study was done last Saturday and it pretty much sucked. I was PMS'ing and depressed (DH was gone all day and I didn't get to see him until maybe an hour before I left). I did not feel like I slept at all that night.Someone told me I would be able to have the tv on while sleeping and I could read my book. But that did not happen.She must have gone to a different place than I did. Blaaa. I canNOT sleep without my tv, and I usually read before falling asleep. I was also told I could lay however I wanted to, but that also didn't happen. I had to lay flat on my back, barely able to bend my legs. I cannot sleep on my back due to my dropped Uterus/bladder, etc.. It causes too much pain and sometimes I cant roll over if I sleep on my back. I normally sleep on my side. So that night I had my normal arm pain numbness and my lower back pain. In the morning the guy doing my study had to help me sit up. He said he only seen a small amount of time that I actually snored, but it should be enough. I told him I did not sleep that is why and he said "you did". Ok, now I snore even while I am awake. As soon as I am relaxed, the snoring starts. i snore so loud, I wake myself up. My daughter can hear me thru the walls. There is NO way I only snored for a couple minutes. And I normally wake up choking and gagging/coughing, because I stop breathing (sleep apnea). But of course I did none of that that night. But I do have another doc appt. and then he will send me for another sleep study but this one will be with the machine. I do not want to do it, but I guess I need to. SUCKS.

I have had blood work done, (all negative-no thyroid problems, no high blood pressure, no diabetes, no high cholesterol., etc.etc.),I had xrays of my left arm (pain numbness), and I think she said that was fine. Well everyone tells me xrays will NOT find anything, that I will have to have an MRI. But the xray tech told me, for insurance companies to cover the mri, you first HAVE to do an xray. So next time I go to the doc, I will ask about that.I had my eye appt. this past Tuesday and boy o boy do I need new glasses. My right eye is HORRIBLE. So different from these scrip.s I have now. It took the doc forever to get the right scrip for it. He had to leave it and go to my left eye and then go back. Everything was one big blob, and it was sorta like ghostly looking. The blobs were moving around the page, leaning to the left, then the right. It was very weird. Even the doc thought so. Specially when my left eye picked up the very smallest line right away. The biggest letter he could pull up was still a big blob to me. Anyhoo my glasses will be ready tomorrow night. They were supposed to be ready tonight, but she called and said tomorrow. No biggie. I can wait. Now, Wyatt had the same time appt. as I did and he does need glasses. He is super excited. We went last night to Vision works in the mall because the place we got our eyes checked (next to Publix in Riverview on Boyette), were way too expensive. And it was with our insurance. Vision works does not take either of ours,but we got the 2 for $100. Wyatt gets his glasses tonight at 6. He is so excited. He looks wayyy cute in them. I will definately post pics when we get home. I will probably use that pic for my 365 project (that I have been slacking on). Haylee had her dentist appt. last Wednesday and it sucked. She has a small cavity on the top, needs a filling. NO biggie. $21 for that. She needs all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. OUCH, that will be about $900. HA. Then she needs a deep cleaning that will be a bit over$400. Double HA. For a cleaning??. Then the worse one of all. She has a BAD, DEEP cavity on the bottom in the back. They say she needs a root canal on it. And that is almost $1400 for that one tooth. NO WAY will that happen. I have been told by a few people to just have it pulled.They could do all that work and then it falls out the next day. Not gonna happen. I asked her if she wants to do that. But she really didn't answer. It's either pull it, or leave it as is. There is no way I can do that. Way too much money. And of course her dad can't help. We just spent $2000 on her car in the shop and another $300 on buying an a/c compresser, window motors, and a few things for the inside that are broken and needs replacing. Her dad hasn't helped with that, so I am sure he wont help with her mouth. Anyhoo, Haylee has insurance but of course does not cover any of that. Well it did cover the xrays and office visit, which total was only $50. And it does cover pulling two wisdom teeth, but not the other two and not the other stuff it says has to be done after being pulled. They do all this to rip you off. They know they are the only office around that takes her insurance, so I can't just say, sorry I will go somewhere else. Sucks.I have my dentist appt. next Wednesday (first in MANY years) and she has her appt. to get the top filling at the same time.

So for me I only have to get to the ear, nose, throat doc, and the gastroentestinal doc. I can't think of anything thing else I need to go to. WOW I just realized how much I have talked (typed). Sorry guys. I'm sure 90% of you just scrolled right over all that. Don'tblame you. LOL. OH and I have lost 5 pounds in 4 weeks, BUT the best is, I went from an 18 to a 16, and I can wear 16 petites. Haven't been able to do that in a LONG time. WOOHOO. Only 5 pounds SUCKS, but the pant size is awesome. Go me. LOL. And I have started going to line dance classes on Monday nights (6:30-8:30 pm) at the Riverview Moose Lodge. My friend from high school/my sons God Mother teaches it for FREE (so if anyone lives nearby, come join us). So I am getting that bit of exercise, and a few of us from work that all live in my neighborhood walk 3 days a week. So far I have only been able to do this twice, but that is better than nothing. I have tried doing the wii fit a few times, but with so many doc appt.s and other things going on, I just haven't hadthe time. I could be doing it now, but I have other things to do. LOL. excuses excuses, right?. LOL.Hopefully when I go to the weight watchers meeting on Saturday, it will show I have lost a few more. Crossing my fingers. I guess that is it for now. My doctors appt.s

I FINALLY made all my doctors appts that I have been needing to make for awhile now.
With all the budget cuts going on in schools, I just got a bit worried I might loose my job.
Some people are saying it will not happen, but you never know. So I just started making
those appt.s in case I loose my insurance.
I went for my blood work, xray and today was my Cardiologist appt. I have had chest pains,
and my left arm goes numb and tingly for over 10 years. I have gone to the ER numerous
times thinking heart prob.s and them just telling me its my acid reflux. Could be, who knows,
all they ever did was check my blood pressure and I think once or twice xrays of my chest.
That does no good. Well I went to my primary care doc telling her this problem (haven't been
to any doc since Wyatt was born almost 9 years ago) and she said she would feel better to send
me to cardio doc JUST IN CASE. Well Dr. Gowda (short for Lingegowda or somethin like that)
was very nice and after doing an ekg and listening to my heart and all that good stuff, said everything looks and sounds good, but with me being 40 (march 2) and I guess my weight and family history, he wants to do other tests. So this Monday (hopefully, if the refferal goes thru)
I will be going for my Stress Test, and the 23rd for my ECHO test, and then back to see him on the 29th. More than likely it is my GERD, BUT my issue is why do I get these arm pains, and why does my arm go numb and tingly? No one (hospitals) have ever been able to explain that.
Better safe than sorry.
NEXT, tomorrow-1-16-09, Mammogram, maybe they will say I need a breast reduction.

NEXT, is my Sleep doctor appt. on Tuesday the 20th. This is for my BAD snoring and sleep apnea issues.
NEXT, Vein doctor on the 26th, I have a really bad vericose vein that has been causing lots of
problems for a SUPER long time.
Next, Eye doctor, Feb. 3,(Wyatt's is the same time) my eyes are getting so bad. My glasses are great, but not my vision.
Next, Gynocologist, Feb. 12th (it was for Jan. 28th but after I got my packet in the mail, I found out they have a new office in Riverview right here on Big Bend, so I changed to that office) to hopefully get a hysterectomy.
I still have to make my dentist appt. I found one on Big Bend that takes my insurance but I have
to call the insurance and get this place on their roster and that will take about a month. I wanted to do it today, but just no time. Probably wont be able to do it tomorrow either. Maybe Monday after my stress test.

My dad has surgery on his neck next week. Not sure what it is called, but if you could keep him
in your thoughts and prayers, we would all be grateful.
I think that is it for now. I will try to get over to my new blog (project 365kit) to post my pictures for the 365 project.

Did you get your project 365 kit?

Hope everyone is able to get a kit. It is so exciting. A friend is going to order me one when she orders herself a kit. Good luck Lynn. If I don't happen to get one, I am still going to do this somehow.

I have taken a pic everday starting with this past Sunday. Here is what I am using so far.

First pic is for the 28th of Wyatt and Donny (daddy) looking at Donny's laptop.

The 29th. Our baby Cameleon just died and Wyatt and Haylee

are buring it in the front yard by the plant.

30th, STILL working on a gift. Man I look yuk. If you know me,

you know I HATE getting my pic taken, So posting that pic is

a major thing for me. Even when I look my best, I still look like

crap, so this is REALLY bad. Oh well, this is me.

31st-My hubby (Donny) and myself on New Year's Eve in front of

the tree. YUK again. This is about as good as I can look. pathetic.

And this pic is going to be for the 31st and the 1st.

I might resize it to be small or cut it in half and put

it for both days. Not sure, until I get the kit.

Donny has been working on my computer today (I am on his), and I had
a laptop mouse hooked up to it. The keys worked for a little bit (had to
press hard to get the letter typed) and then stopped altogether. He tried
to wipe out windows and reinstall it, BUT the keys would not work so he
couldn't type in the key. Haylee had bought windows xp for her old computer
but we bought her a laptop so she didn't have to use it. So he is installing that
on my laptop. It is gonna be weird going from vista back to xp, but if it fixes my
computer then I don't care. So far the keys/mouse are working. He is still working
on it. Cross your fingers for me please. He is hoping he can get it fixed too. He said whenever i check my email it makes his computer run bad. LOL. pooooooor thing. hehe.

Update on Wyatt from his Shriner's appt.

Wyatt had his Shriner's appt. the Tuesday before Christmas. Pretty good news. His femur bone is almost 100% grown back. It looks really good. Rounded like it should be. There is just a bit at the top that is not grown back but that will come in soon. The nurse practitioner (we couldn't see Dr. Kim (and wont anymore cause he is moving out of state-WAH) because I had to cancel his appt. from the week before because I had strep) said if he stays off his leg and does what he is supposed to and wears his braces for 12hours a day (from 6pm-6am) then next Christmas he should be able to start walking again. So I need all the finger crossing, praying, encouragement for him to do what he should so he can get out of his wheelchair/walker. It is so hard for an 8 year old boy to not walk and run and flop around on the floor to play. But he is doing as good as we can hope for. I don't think I could handle it.

Anyhow, my computer is trash (still hoping for a miracle) so once in a while I jump on Donny or Haylee's laptop to check email. Their laptops are so different than mine so takes getting used to. will try to post about Christmas. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend it with family/friends and got all you wished for.

My computer is trash

Saturday my computer was fine, I worked all day with my cricut/DS with no problems. Then Sunday I turned it on and nothing. It came on, but froze in one spot and would not do anything.
Couldn't turn it off properly, but got it off. I have tried numerous times and nothing. Donny worked on it for 2 hrs last night and nothing. It boots in safe mode so he knows it is not the computer itself. It must have a virus or something. He can not figure out what to do. We are going to try to get my important stuff off in safe mode. Cross your fingers for me. So it seems I am without a computer. I cannot afford to take it anywhere to get fixed so wahhhhhhhh no computer for me. I am on Haylee's computer right now. She doesn't like to share. I don't like her computer anyhow, it's weird. lol.
Just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. If I don't respond to anything you send me, so sorry. If you really need me, you can call me.

I am so obsessed with this movie and the books. I just watched Regis and Kelly and Kristen Stuart. They (of course) showed some scenes from the movie and man o man, Edwards (Robert Pattinson) Eyes are just sooooo....I don't know WOW. I want to go see the movie again. Anyhoo, I need to try to get my mind off of it. LOL. Crazy I know.

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down

when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared .. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver

then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against

a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?" The young boy was apologetic. "Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do," He pleaded. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..." With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. "It's my brother, "he said. "He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.."

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. "Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy! push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: "Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!" God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

WOW-I LOVED it. I want to go see it again. There were some people that did not like it and complained cause it wasn't EXACTLY like the book. But you know what? It was AWESOME.
It would have been nice if it was more like the book and could have lasted as long as the book,
but it was still GREAT. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. I know Edward (Rob P.) is only 22 years old, but he still looked HOT in this movie. Real life he is OK-the hair has to change, but in the movie. YOWZERS-those eyes and that smile. MELTING... LOL. Ok enough of that.
I seriously have a headache from all the SCREAMING GIRLS in the theatre. But I loved it. I actually WOOOHOOOOO'ed when they showed the preview for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. LOL. Can't wait for that.

Are you getting excited? I know I am. My daughter went and picked me up

Only 5 days left and I still do not have a t-shirt or tickets. If tickets are sold out I am gonna be
one VERY UNHAPPY person. Who hasn't gotten their tickets yet? Am I the only one? Well I know I am not. The person I am going with does not have hers yet. She isn't as much into it as I
am. I put an invite to everyone at work in their mailboxes to join us on Friday to see the movie. SO many of them have no clue what Twilight (books/movie) is. I had to clue some of them in. Maybe someone will be interested enough to join us. I borrowed (still have not bought my own, holding out to get the boxed set) "Twilight" again so I can read it again before the movie on Friday. Who else is reading it again?

If you have not read these books, you absolutely HAVE to. They are sooooo awesome. They are
geared towards teenagers, but us old ladies are so in love with them. Stephenie Meyers is such an awesome writer. All 4 of her books (plus the 5th one that she isn't sure she will finish cause some jerk leaked it on the internet) are wonderful. I know what some of you will say, "It's about Vampires-YUK", but they are GOOD. The Cullen family are GOOD Vampires. The do not drink
human blood. Even if you are against evil things like this, you will still love it. I know many Christians that love the books. I can't get into what the books are about, I am just not that good
at describing things. But if you scroll down and look to the right you will see tons of blogs/websites and there are alot about Twilight. You can read more about the books and movie there. The movie "Twilight" comes out November 21st and some of us from work are going to see it. We are going to the 4:15 showing. If you would like to tag along, send me a message. I can also send you an Evite invite. I will also go see the movie any other time. As long as I have the money to go. I will go see it over and over and over again. Have you seen the commercials yet? They started playing them on Monday. I even have the first one DVR'd. LOL. I am a freak for Twilight. Oh and I am team EDWARD of course. I like Jacob, but Edward is the "Man". LOL
Edward is played by Robert Pattison who also played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I am also a MAJOR Harry Potter fan.

Lynna from my Cricut_Chatter group was so super nice and did an awesome thing for Wyatt. She sent a letter to George Lucas/Lucasfilms telling them about Wyatt and asked if they could send him a little something to cheer him up. Check out the pics. She included the letter she sent

them and the letter they sent her. They sent him (it went to her and she sent it to Wyatt) a

t-shirt and an issue of Star Wars magazine. She also made him an awesome card. Thank you so much Lynna, he loves it so much. I will definately do a scrapbook page about it.

I am over a thousand hits (probably half are mine. lol). I would do some blog
candy, but I really don't have anything to give. Sorry ladies. Thanks to everyone
that has come to visit. I really appreciate. it.

Changing subjects a little. I have lost 8 pounds so far. I have actually had to go a
little or alot off the 500 calorie diet I was doing before. For over a week I have
not had any food in the house that was on the list I had. So I had to eat other items.
But it was all good, I still lost 4 pounds from it. But now, I am going to do something
much different than that diet. I will still get the B12 shot and take one of the pills,
but the food will be differetnt. I am going to try Weight Watchers point system. The
meetings closer for me is out here in Riverview, off of 301 and Simmons Lp. It's at
SIMMONS LOOP BAPTIST CHURCH

Did you know that there is a cheap and effective therapy to prevent breast cancer?-A Special Message from Dr. Karen

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I encourage women over forty to have a mammogram each year and all of you, men included, to examine your breasts monthly. Each year, about 200,000 women (and 1000 men) are diagnosed with breast cancer and about 40,000 women die of the disease. But we are learning ways to fight back.
Did you know that there is a cheap, effective therapy to prevent breast cancer that has no side effects and that this treatment also reduces the recurrence of disease among breast cancer survivors? It's true and you're already doing it. Exercise, such as walking, reduces the risk of developing cancers in general and recent studies have proven that moderate exercise prevents breast cancer.

While doctors aren't exactly sure how exercising reduces the risk of breast cancer, they do know that obesity is linked to cancer and that overweight women have higher levels of estrogen, a hormone that supports the growth of the most common type of breast cancer. We all know that exercise and eating fewer calories are the keys to weight loss, but women of all sizes and ages can reduce the risk of breast cancer by exercising.

In a variety of recent medical studies, we have learned that regular exercise started as young as twelve will reduce the risk of developing breast cancer by as much as 23%. Breast cancer survivors who walk or enjoy other moderate forms of exercising three to five hours per week are 50% less likely to die of breast cancer that those who are sedentary.
No matter your age, all women benefit from exercise and the more consistent you are, the more you gain in terms of protection. The most benefit results from a moderate- intensity activity such as brisk walking for thirty minutes a day, five days a week. That's a two mile walk with Leslie- something most of us can achieve or work up to.

There is good news regarding breast cancer. Early detection through self breast exams and yearly mammography saves lives and now, we have a simple, safe, and effective weapon against this deadly disease: exercise. I encourage each of you to keep walking - it could save your life. Remember, I believe in good health and believe in it for you!-Dr. Karen

Well Donny has spent all day in the yard. He worked some

more on the Pond (used to be hot tub), and put the flowers

all around it. Moved a few things. Added the lights, and finished

the sprinklers. I have been in my scraproom all day so I wasn't out there

when he finished what he could for the day. So I went out a few minutes

ago to check it out with my camera. I started taking pics and getting closer.

All the while I am like thinking to myself, "I sure hope nothing jumps out at

me in this dark". Luckily nothing did, but I got closer and kept taking pics.

As I was starting to walk back in, I took one last pic (or so I thought I did-LOL).

Here he is at school with a poster that was used last year for the 5th grade program. It is huge and they were giving it away. he begged me for it. We had to take it apart but got it in the car. Then even with our tall ceilings, I still had to take the bottom (all the credits about the movie) off. It is in his room against the wall behind his bunk beds.

This was this past Friday (Sept.26th, 2008) and PTA put on a dad's day breakfast. This is Donny and Wyatt. Neither one of them wanted to eat, I made them go get a bagel. Wonder where Wyatt gets it from. Sure not me.

We walked around the mall the other day to get out of the house and while we were getting something to eat, Wyatt looked at the store PICTURE THIS! he seen batman. So he took my camera phone,and tried to get pics of him. Batman and the woman working with him seen him doing this, so they came over and let me take of pic of them. That was so nice. They charge for you to come in and get pics taken. He was happy.

a week before he got his casts on, Aunt T.T. took him and Anthony (didn't want to post pics of Ant before asking Tree) to Zepherhills to eat. On their way back hom to T.T.'s house, they saw this military vehicle (actually two diff. ones) and she let them get out (let Wyatt walk to it and stand being he was going to be in casts soon, give him a little freedom) and take pics with it. They had a blast. Both are for sale. Anyone intersted. LOL

Can't tell if this is at Joann's (looking for mommy) or not.

I almost broke this very new diet tonight. I made spaghetti with corn on the cob for the family. BUT, I could NOT eat it. I had to eat a hot dog. Well, actually I did not have hotdogs but did have one sausage. So I had less than half of that, and I was supposed to have lettuce, cuccumbers and one other item (salad item), but didn't have any of that. So I had a little less than half a cup of white rice and I had some brocolli so I boiled half of that. And I put hot sauce on the rice and sausage (since I usually eat ketchup on my rice and cant have that). So while everyone ate my FAVORITE food, I ate this very miserable very depressing meal. Don't get me
wrong, the food itself is good, I like it all, BUT, Wyatt the one that barely eats anything, eats more than that. My cabinet is full of choco cookies, cheezits, 6 bags of chips, count chocolate and boo berry cereal (bought for ME), and burritos, and pickels, humus with crakers (bought for ME) and some other items I can't think of right now. Oh and coke and other soft drinks (grape, orange, root beer). And I cannot have any of it. I am being good and not eating it, but I am more
depressed now, than I was before I started it and seen my fat self's weight on the scale. Today for breakfast I had a boiled egg (no salt-wahhh), and half a yucky gooey banana we had in our class. Then my 2 hr later "snack" I had the rest of my salad stuff and a spoonful of potted meat (I had bought this the other day before I started the diet-and I didn't have any chicken to add to it). Then for lunch I had a 1 oz hamburger (which equals out to 2 tablespoons) with a quarter piece of cheese. Nothing else on it. I didn't have any veges and the lunch room at school did not have any today. So that was it for lunch. Then I forgot to take my 2 slices of turkey meat so did not have that for my second snack. So right now I am still really hungry. But I am being good and not going in there and getting some humus and crackers that I really really want. I have had so much water, I have to go to the bathroom every 15 minutes. I think Ms. Joyce and Ms. Cathy are probably getting tired of me running to the bathroom all the time. Plus I have to stop and eat every two hours. The first snack is when we have to go to our special for the day so I am cramming it in as fast as I can. Why O Why did I start this stupid diet? I guess cause I am so stupidly fat and I am miserable. Lets hope I can keep it up at least till I can loose at least 10 pounds. Well I gotta run, Wyatt is calling.

Donny sliced his wrist today

Donny called me this morning and said he sliced his wrist and was gonna meet his boss at the clinic to get stiches. Well of course he did not. It finally stopped bleeding after hours and hours.
It looks a little better but still should have something done to it. And just now he tried to delete this and I grabbed his wrist. OOOPS. Sorry Babe. It is bleeding again. I think we are going to CVS to get some butterfly stitches or something.

A friend let me borrow her Animal Kingdom cart for the cricut. I have to make around 30(maybe more) invitations to a Teachers Retirement party. They have to be done and mailed
by next Friday. She has been to Africa and LOVES it. So we were thinking maybe an African
theme. So I thought maybe using the Lion, giraffe, zebra, and elephant from the cart. Anyone

Home from the Hospital.

Shriners Hospital in Tampa, Fl. has been wonderful. Everyone there super nice and helpful.
I am going to copy and paste what I wrote in some emails. My brain is too pooped to think right now. Hope I have everything.
First email sent at 5:35 pm.
We got home around 3:30 today (Thursday). Sorry for those I didn't get to email (or have someone email for me -THANKS JENN) before now. I could not get internet at the hospital.
The surgery was supposed to be at 2:15 on Tuesday but it was delayed (another surgery took
longer than expected) until 4:50. He was in and out of surgery in no time. When he woke
up he was miserable. DID NOT like the IV in his arm at all. He has had his rough times
with crying and just being miserable but overall he did really good. When it was time for
Donny to go home Wyatt would cry so hard and was really upset. And that always happened
after Wyatt took the Tylenol with Codeine. He would get really goofy and then real emotional.
They have USF college students come over and volunteer and they do all kinds of arts and
crafts with the kids. They had a good ole time. I am so pooped and the house is a disaster. Just wanted to let everyone know he is home and doing good. He has his spurts where he cry's that he doesnt want the casts on anymore. But overall he is doing good. We have the appt. for his Re-addmission so they will be off in 6 weeks. The date is November 3rd at 9:30 am.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. They are much appreciated.
Another emial I sent out at 10:04 pm.
We have him all set up in the living room (room by
the front door). He is a little uncomfortable right now, but hopefully will
get used to it quickly. I am wore out. As soon as I sit down he is yelling for me.
LOL, maybe I will loose half a pound. LOL. The having to pee thing is already
getting old. He pees, I dump it, I sit down, he calls me again. "it didnt all come out"
At least the last couple times he was able to use the urinal (hand held)
by himself. But I still have to go dump it. Argh. Thank goodness for the urinal though.
Carrying him in and out of the bathroom would kill me.

This was this morning (Friday) around 10:30am.
Last night was not so great. He was so uncomfortable.
He could not get comfortable at all and cried every time he woke up.
He didn't want any medicine to help him sleep, so didn't do much sleeping.
I had to sleep in the room with him on a child's foam futon chair. LOL.
I did not sleep and am very BLAAAA today. The house is a mess and I don't
feel like cleaning. We have to go back to school/work on Monday. Don't
think either of us are ready to go back. I'm supposed to go to a crop tomorrow
but not sure Im up to it. I have to cut up some shorts Donny bought him and put
zippers into them. Need to go to Joann's and buy more iron on Velcro for his underwear.
Not in the mood to do that either. I have got to do some sewing. Anyone have any EASY tips for me on putting zippers in? These are the jacket type zippers. Thanks.

Taina came to visit and brought him flowers and a balloon. This is his first time eating since 9pm the night before. He was starving. Cramming the food down.

Tuesday is Therapy Dog day. This is a very OLD yellow lab. So BIG. Came to visit Wyatt. He
had to take a breather at my feet (not my feet in the pic-his owners-mine are under the blanket.

Has to do toe/foot exercises to keep those muscles working

Learning how to stand with walker and walk sideways in case he has to go to the bathroom (cant get into the bathroom with wheelchair). Doctor does not want him doing this unless he HAS to.

Wyatt's new Build-A-Bear

We took Wyatt out to eat at Olive Garden and then to the mall to get him a new build a bear.

He picked the dinosaur and named him Darth Maul from Star Wars. LOL. He has as much trouble naming things as I do. He could not think of anything, and this name was the first to pop in his head. lol Anyhow, here are a few pics I just took. There is also another bear he got a few years ago. Firefighter Billy Blazes (from Rescue Heros)

Wyatt's surgery tomorrow 9-16-08...

The time for the surgery is 2:15, but we have to be at Shriners at 12:00.
If anyone wants to come visit at the hospital, the surgery should last around an
hour or so. Not sure what time visitors can come see him. Shriners is over by USF.
Take Fowler to Bruce B Downs, turn right. The next light you turn right (it is actually
the first right after turning onto BBD). There are signs. Go around the curve, stay in the
left lane and keep going straight after the stop sign. And there is Shriners.
If anyone wants to send him a card, the addie is Wyatt Richard, P.O. Box 252 Riverview,
Fl. 33568-0252. I know there are a few that had asked for our addie to send him
one. Can't remember who it was.
He will probably be there till Wednesday mabye Thursday. We won't know until Wednesday
how long he will be there. He will be in the casts for about 6-8 weeks and then braces after
that for about a year. I don't know if he will still have to use the wheelchair or not.
I get to stay the night with him at the hospital since he is only 8. So it is time to pack. Fun. lol

A Dad's Poem
